Who is Caracalla?

Caracalla 1947 was created from a passion for good living, elegant travel and the golden age of motorsport.

Founded in 2005, we have a wealth of experience in luxury leather accessories and we have created pieces to the most exacting standards for some of the best automotive brands in the world, creating bespoke luggage for supercars such as the Aston Martin Vulcan and the McLaren P1.

In 2018, Caracalla shareholder, Richard Wheat, became CEO and appointed a new management team.

With the brand now able to work collaboratively on a broader scale, Caracalla now supports clients such as RAC, Formula One Paddock Club and their associated global partners.

A new standardin gifting

In 2019 we turned our expertise to the woefully under-serviced arena of luxury gifting and we are now offering a bespoke service of our leather luggage and accessories. Creating pieces that reflect your values and enhance your brand image, be it a folio for a client of a private bank or a utility bag for a track day, we can make something that will be appreciated and cherished.

Your colleagues, customers and friends will become ambassadors of your brand every time they use your gift. And trust us, they will use them again.

The Rake magazine is the modern voice of classical elegance and is considered the bible for the modern-day sybarite. In 2015, they launched a dedicated e-commerce platform to champion the artisan brand and support the best in craftsmanship in tailoring, haberdashery and accessories. Caracalla 1947 is proud to be stocked on The Rake and will continue to grow our relationship with exclusive collaborations. To strengthen this relationship, The Rake Atelier is now the exclusive distributor of our mainline collection.

We’d love to hear from you if you have a project that we can help with. If you’re unsure of who to contact here, send a general message to enquiries@caracalla1947.com
